Doors with insulation are painted under cover: EPINOX 77 (2×130μm, gray).

Weathertight ship door type BOH.0331S are designed specially for inclined bulkheads. Special hinges with the spring works as a support during opening the doors.

Weather-tight door type BOH.0335 has a a central locking system with handle or wheel, which is implemented through a bolt mechanism. Designed for mounting on both, steel and aluminum superstructures walls.
Tightness provided by using a rubber seal 40x20mm.
The locking mechanism is completely covered.
The use of gear and bearing reduces the force required for closing of the door.
Special hinges allow to adjust the wing in three axes.
Door can be equipped with thermal insulation door, lock, porthole, window, door closers or other accessories.

Preparing surfaces for painting executed in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8501-1. Standard surface preparation grade Sa 2½ is achieved by blasting.

The standard products are painted in Hempel’s system, which corresponds to marine corrosion class C5-M.

It consists of the following layers:

• epoxy – Zinc Hempadur 17360 – 60 microns (for aluminum doors Hempadur 15553 – 60 microns);
• epoxy – Hempadur Mastic 45880 – 200 microns;
• the last layer of the system is Polyurethane HEMPATHANE HS 55610 (60 mm), which is normally not applied in the process of painting at Bohamet and which, to achieve complete protection coating should be applied during the final stage of work in the yard (but on request can to be performed during the painting process in the company Bohamet).

Steel frames are painted with epoxy primer for temporary protection (Hempel’s SHOPPRIMER ZS 15890 (20 microns)), the protection period is 4 to 6 months.
Elements covered with primer for temporary protection can be welded.
Aluminum or stainless steel frames are supplied unpainted.
