Z.P. "BOHAMET" places highest priority on environmental issues. Company location in the Bydgoszcz green zone entails environmentally friendly business. None of our main manufacturing processes, namely:

-metal machining
-welding and machining
-glass treatment
-pre-painting surface treatment
-varnishing

involve any environmentally harmful activities. Appropriate technical conditions are maintained in order to minimize any potential risk to the environment. Production halls are fitted with forced ventilation units neutralizing dustiness and preventing dust release to the atmosphere. Pre-painting surface treatment (shot blasting) is carried out in tightly sealed, modern shot-blasting machines. Welding and painting stations are equipped with suitable absorbers. A 3.5 m soundproof screen protects against adverse effects of noise. No hazardous waste is generated in the course of manufacturing processes and the resulting steel and non-ferrous scrap as well as glass cullet is collected by regular recipients and further recycled. Z.P. Bohamet contracts waste management units to dispose of various materials such as lamps or regular and rechargeable batteries.
